Postal services halted in some areas due to Hurricane Florence
The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has suspended operations in several ZIP Code areas likely to be impacted by Hurricane Florence. Post Offices are closed, and mail delivery has been stopped in many areas in the path of the storm. The USPS notes there is a possibility of late or non-deliveries for some residential and business customers in the affected region. This may effect Bill Payments that are sent out. Dormant Account Information:
Central Soya FCU recently updated their Dormant Account Policy. The policy now states if an account has no activity for 12 months, a letter will be mailed to the member. If there is no response from you, the member, within the time frame stated in the letter your funds will be considered dormant, a dormant fee of $5.00 will be accessed monthly. The money in your account will be mailed into the State of Indiana as unclaimed property after 3 years of dormancy.

You can prevent your account from being charged a fee every month by using your account to make a transaction. Please visit our website at www.centralsoyafcu.org to learn more about your credit union.
